Nurse. Entrepreneur. Financial Professional.
Husband. Father. Lifelong Student.

Nearly two decades in healthcare taught me that people rarely need more complexity. They need clarity, preparation and someone willing to listen. Today, I bring that same people-first philosophy to conversations about life, finances and business.

Two conversations,
one starting point.

Most people arrive here for one of two reasons. Neither one commits you to anything. Both simply begin with a conversation.

My Story

From the Bedside
to Business

I've spent almost twenty years as a Registered Nurse, and it shaped nearly everything about how I think today.

Healthcare has a way of teaching you what actually matters. You see, up close, what happens when people are prepared and what happens when they aren't. That experience built my belief in preparation, prevention, and protecting what matters most, long before I ever had a conversation about insurance or investments.

Alongside nursing, I became an entrepreneur. I built and operated a home health care business from the ground up, and eventually made the decision to sell it. That became a lesson in itself about growth, transition, and letting go of something you've built.

That entrepreneurial chapter led me into financial services, where I now work with families, professionals and business owners, and where I help build and mentor a growing team. Across all three careers, I keep coming back to the same idea: financial conversations should be understandable, not intimidating.

The 5F Philosophy

Money is important.
Life is bigger.

I believe financial decisions should support the life you want to build, not become the entire purpose of your life. That belief is organized around five areas I call the 5F Philosophy.

01

Faith

The values and sense of purpose that give direction and quietly shape every decision underneath.

02

Fitness

The health and energy that let us actually enjoy what we spend years working to build.

03

Family

The people who give the journey meaning and are usually the reason preparation matters in the first place.

04

Finances

A tool for creating security, confidence and choices. Not a scoreboard, and not the point of the exercise.

05

Fun

The experiences that make life worth living: travel, trails, campfires, family adventures and laughter.

Faith grounds me. Fitness sustains me. Family gives me purpose. Finances create options. Fun makes the journey worth it.

None of these stand alone. A financial plan that ignores health, family or purpose isn't really a plan. It's a spreadsheet. The goal is a life that holds together.

Who I Work With

Real people.
Real questions. Real conversations.

Over the years, many of my conversations have been with people juggling careers, businesses and growing families, trying to make sense of financial priorities without a lot of spare time to do it.

A Short Exercise

What might you be overlooking?

Life gets busy. Between careers, businesses, mortgages, children and everyday responsibilities, important financial questions can easily get pushed aside. The Financial Blind Spot Assessment is a short educational exercise designed to help you identify areas you may want to think about or discuss further.

What Nearly 20 Years at the Bedside Taught Me About Preparation

The difference between families who were ready and families who weren't was almost never income. It was whether someone had thought about it beforehand.

Beyond Business

Life outside the work.

Some of my best thinking happens far away from a desk: on a trail, around a campsite, travelling with my family, or with a good book in my hands.

I'm a husband and father of two boys, and my wife is building her own career in financial services alongside me. Our boys keep us busy with basketball and swimming, and most weekends you'll find our family somewhere in the Rockies, hiking, camping, or just getting some air.

I'm also involved as a community volunteer here in Calgary, where I spend time helping enrich and preserve culture and heritage within the local Indian diaspora. That work keeps me connected to where I come from while building a life here.
